Can somebody give more details about it, Is this because of the recent re-captcha move by google that requires scanning QR code.

I tried to go to an random archive.is link and do the captcha to access the website (atleast for now) but this is a dangerous precedent to set things up on if we require scanning QR codes on our phone to use internet websites.

I might email the webmaster. This is insanity. I know he purposefully puts the ReCaptcha on the higher setting, but at this point I would rather solve this captcha[1]. I don't know what the best solution is for these sites. Cloudflare and ReCaptcha are easily beaten by this browser[2], even on a VPN connection. Other anti detect browsers are not far behind. I wonder when regular users will start using these browsers for regular browsing, it is very convenient.

Cloudflare turnstile is handy for bots which aren't smart but any smart bots are okay with Cloudflare tunstile (which just require a very little bit of js)

I didn't know that a browser could work with google recaptcha though.

Now, the thing which I wish to ask is, has that google recaptcha change of qr code happened? Can you send me any screenshots where an archive link recaptcha is asking you for qr code.

I had thought that this feature of google had time, I didn't know that it was already done. This is quite bad if google has already added it to recaptcha.

Yes I got the recaptcha with a QR code on archive.today. Has only happened once. I did the audio as an alternative. That browser I linked actually beat the recaptcha and any other captcha I tried with no clicking needed–I was really surprised.

I'll send a screenshot if it happens again.
