A two player (or you against the computer) where the goal is to play the last move, switching turns.
Another idea is a two player game where you add up the points as you go along, so as you play you try to strategize how to force the other player to give you more points.
Probably a lot more multiplayer ideas like "power ups" which can alter the board at each jump to a new factor of 2.
