Reading these threads did not make me think any more favourably of the Wireguard "brand" if that was the author's intention. He cross-posts to technical mailing lists, obviously is not familiar with the project, using some passive-aggressive posturing and making sweeping, vague criticisms to try to persuade a Core member to "revert" committing a fellow NetBSD's developer's work from 2018. He offers zero technical details to support his "argument", even noticeably backtracking when someone points out a flaw in the OpenBSD version that he allegedly spent "years" working on to get "right" and was planning to use as a model for NetBSD.

In 2017 NetBSD got L2TPv3 in-kernel; in 2018, we got an in-kernel Wireguard implementation.
